Microsoft software implicated in air traffic shutdown

"...five incidents where aircraft broke separation guidelines were reported. In one case, a pilot had to take evasive action."

"A three-hour system shutdown that affected South California's airports was reportedly caused by a technician who failed to reboot [...] a Microsoft-based replacement for an older Unix system [that] needed to be reset every thirty days 'to prevent data overload'/"

But seriously, using Windows for anything that involves potential risk to human life is downright irresponsible. To be fair to Microsoft, such use is not even allowed by their EULA, actually.
